24 B-1's and B-52 bombers were just sent to Guam as a message to N. Korea's Pyongyang. I think they said that 'escort' fighter craft are also to be sent.
The North Koreans are desperately trying to keep the spotlight on them.
In retaliation for the MiG Fighter locking on to our Recon aircraft, we should have launched 2 Fighters to lock on him.

The Koreans according to the pilots of the recon plane carried themselves professionally and made no agreesive manouvers and accepted the lock-on as a way to communicate that they were too close for the N. Korean's liking.

Indeed, but perhaps it was a tad too unneccessary for this time, considering our gov'ts political situation with each other.
If it was a US Fighter that was locked on to, I could understand the N. Koreans point of view....
But, it was just a Recon plane.

But, it was just a Recon plane.WHat if the lock was a way to warn when language wasn't an option? I think that had they done that to a fighter, the outcome would have been completely different. I understand why (most likely why) they locked on to a recon.
Nevertheless, I still find it unacceptable. Considering Kim's words as of lately, I don't think he needs his pilots getting jumpy.
And considering America's situation in Iraq, Afghanistan, and everywhere else in the world right now, I don't think this si the time to be testing America's military personnel.
It may have been legal, but it just looks like bad judgement to me. :?
