Hey, guys.. I'm sure that few of you have been playing/recording some Meshuggah covers? Well, I have heard already the Tandjents version of Concatenation, it's nice :P


Do ya people have any other stuff recorded?

We are planning with Zan to play Closed Eye Visuals and record it with minidisc,... but we don't have anyone to play the bass :P (hehe, oh.. like where do you need him?;P)

Check this cover out. It's this band from the UK called "Frog". This is their cover of Humiliative. It doesn't have any vocals or a solo. But IMO, it's a damn good cover :shock: .

That was pretty cool. I think they should have at least TRIED to do vocals though.

Damn, thanks for the hookup. Not only do I like their cover, but their own material is awesome! Definately some Meshuggah influenced there. :)

Here's Concatenation. It's about a year old now.
Sojo on drums. Sunman guitar. Me guitar/solo.
The recording isn't perfect by any means but I think we did pretty well overall.

Me and two classmates are in the recording of a cover of Sickening.
I play guitars and bass and classmate #1 play drums and classmate #2 sings.
We've finished Fredrik, Mårten, Gustav and Tomas so it's only Jens left.

We are done with the recording this tuesday then it's mixing and mastering left and then......done! :D

Yes....there's a guitar solo. Not the one Fred plays though. It's a improvised Thordendal-style solo. (or at least, an attempt to Thordendal-style. :wink: )
