Jeepp... he's creative alright. But I'm not too very found of his music... it's fun to listen to... but it's not reeeeaally my definition of good music. He's one hell of a guitarist though...

i fully fucking agree with you!

if there was anything that might lack in his solo releases that you other
peoples find "boring", its probably lack of emotion.

because technicallity without emotion is boring,
so maybe thats what you fuckers are moaning about.

i dont really think that myself, but do you? :?

You have to remember that some of his solo things are experiments. Similar to what one chap on this board was doing with his parabola formula for making music.

You really can't base the songs Ron can make on the quirky experimental stuff he does.

He is a very inventive musician that gives me all sorts of ideas for doing things. I don't copy his stuff, I learn from it. The way he comes up with things that sound interesting help me solidify my own unique signature.

When I first started to play guitar I never cared about what others thought and then I went through a phase of trying to play what others thought was cool, then after listening to Ron back in the Watchtower days I saw someone doing things different from the crowd. Things that were not all based on the same things you always heard.

Anyway, Ron is a good guitarist and there is much that can be learned from him.

And his brother is amazing too.

Sorry for bringing this topic back up, but I have Ink Complete and love it, and I'm curious to see how Solitarily Speaking of Theoretical Confinement compares to it if anyone knows..

I think Solitarily Speaking of Theoretical Confinement is better than Ink-Complete...
However... it's a bit too intense at times... never time to breathe... but I guess the more you listen to it the more you'l appreceate it...

Tsorovan: The Laser's Edge www.lasercd.com have Solitarily Speaking of Theoretical Confinement. Only 12$ (shipping cost to europe is 4.75$ so total cost is 16.75$). They have a lot of other cool music too. Check it out!

Cheesefish: Yeah, thanks, but I already knew about Laser's Edge, I've ordered from that kickass store in the past. Ken is great, he answers all inquiries personally and with genuine interest.

I just wondered if it was somehow available in Svedala, but hey, I guess ordering directly from Ron makes him richer.

sunman: You do know I'm not going to deign that with an answer right? :D You can't rile me with your Rush antics!
